Our initiatives to ensure a smooth experience

This project initially promoted by ENAC has been developed by SEA who has sought the advice of specialised organisations to help define the contents of the Social Stories and the guided tour.
Anyone accompanying children or adults affected by ASD now has the opportunity of using the online virtual guided tour or booking a real in situ guided visit of the airport prior to the actual departure date itself. This permits passengers to familiarize with the unique sounds and spaces typical of the airport environment. 

To book, please send a written request using the online form at least 7 days in advance and include a copy of the passenger’s travel document (airline ticket).

NB. There is a limit of 2 escorts per ASD passenger.

Don’t worry if a preparatory visit is not an option, designated staff will be on hand to ensure you have a pleasant experience and that things go smoothly on the day you travel.

We remind passengers that all types of assistance must be requested with your airline at least 48 hours prior to the date of departure and that all  SEA assistance (Sala Amica) is free of charge.
