Covid-Test flights at Milan Malpensa airport
The decree dated 14th May 2021, permits passengers to fly from the United Arab Emirates to Italy for tourism purposes on Covid Tested Flights.
Passengers landing in Milano Malpensa from the United Arab Emirates on Covid Tested flights, Emirates Airlines EK205 and EK091 and Etihad Airways EY81 e EY87, will be exempted from the 5 days self-isolation if they comply with all the requirements of the Covid tested flights.
Passengers wishing to travel on a Covid-Tested flight will have to demonstrate either a negative rapid antigen test (RADT) or a negative PCR test result prior to boarding their flight. The swab must be taken no later than 48 hours prior to boarding.
Passengers must fill in a specific Digital Passenger Locator Form (dPLF). After the form has been completed passengers will receive an e-mail with a pdf of the dPLF and a QR code, which must be presented at the check-in desk before boarding.
Immediately after landing in Milano Malpensa if passengers have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with an EMA authorized vaccine (completed vaccination cycle fourteen (14) days prior to departure) they can proceed directly to the exit, otherwise, passengers must take another rapid antigen test in the dedicated Area Test Covid, located just after disembarkation of non-EU flights (North Satellite). Passengers are charged 20€ for each test performed.
Test results will be delivered within 30 minutes. Passengers with negative test results will be free to enter our country without self- isolating.
