SEA's commitment to the safety of passengers and workers
Malpensa T2 airport is operational with preventive and extraordinary measures to guarantee the safe distance of passengers and workers and the sanitation of the terminal
Ensuring the safety of all is the main priority at this moment. For this reason, the airports of Milan have put in place a series of measures to allow passengers in the terminal, respecting strict health safety parameters.
The guarantee of airport safety is maintained through a series of steps, aimed primarily at maintaining social distancing between passengers through clear visual indicators in the areas of greatest flow, such as check-in counters and security lines.
Accurate cleaning and disinfection operations of airport environments are carried out several times a day with chlorine-based substances. Special equipment - such as hydrogen peroxide atomizers - has also been adopted for the disinfection of the various areas of the airport. This activity is carried out at night.
To maintain social distancing, we recommend that all passengers check-in online when possible, and always maintain a safe distance of at least one meter at the airport (check-in, transit, boarding, disembarkation, baggage claim, security checks, etc.). It is mandatory to wear a protective mask and gloves from the moment you arrive at the airport.
The body temperature of all passengers will be measured using thermo-scanners.
In the boarding phase, if using the shuttle, a maximum of 25 passengers is allowed. Wearing a protective mask and keeping the interpersonal distance of one meter is always required while in the terminal.
Please, be aware that for all flights, departing and arriving, it is necessary to present a complete self-certification at passport control and the time of boarding.
