During the trip
On board the aircraft, infants do not generally have their own seat but must travel on an adult’s lap.
They are entitled to their own seat, at a reduced price, with the same baggage allowance as an adult.
Unaccompanied minors (between 4 and 14 years old, or 12 for certain companies) can only travel with special assistance. This is what you need to know:
When making a reservation, specify that the minor will be unaccompanied.
Airport staff will provide assistance until boarding, at which stage the airline will be responsible for the minor
The parent or guardian must remain at the airport until take-off
Minors will receive similar assistance upon arrival and will be accompanied until they are reunited with the person named in the booking.
Important: ask the airline about the age limit for receiving this service.
If you are pregnant, we advise you to notify the airline at the time of booking: you may have to present medical documentation.
You will find areas at the airport where you can breastfeed your baby in complete peace and privacy:
Baby Pit Stop in the Sale Amica
