Coronavirus Emergency: Malpensa Terminal 1 entrance and exit

In compliance with ENAC's dispositions, access to Milano Malpensa Terminal 1 is regulated through unidirectional routes that control the flow of passengers to make travelers and staff stay at the airport as safe as possible.

All people who access the airport will be, therefore, required to wear personal protective equipment for the entire duration of their stay and will be subjected to body temperature checks through a thermal scanner at their entrance. If the device detects febrile symptoms above 37.5 °C, a medical check-up is provided.

Checkpoints for temperature measurement are on floor -1 for all passengers arriving from multi-story car parks and the railway station, and at doors 13 and 19 on the departure floor for any other departing passenger.
On the departures floor, the exit is allowed only from doors 16 and 17. Entry and exit from any other door will be inhibited.

On the arrivals floor, checks are carried out at doors 2 and 7, while the exit is permitted only from doors 4 and 8. Entry and exit from any other door will be inhibited.

Passengers with reduced moblity

Passengers with reduced mobility can request and receive special assistance at the check-in counters of their flight or through the call points outside doors 12, 15, and 19 on the departures floor and 4 and 7 on the arrivals floor.
Passengers are informed that starting from Monday, June 15, 2020, commercial aviation traffic will be redirected to Terminal 1 of Milano Malpensa Airport. Terminal 2 will be temporarily closed.
