New opening of Pergolesi Classic Lounge at Malpensa Terminal 1

Malpensa Airport has recently been enriched by the opening of a completely renewed lounge, Pergolesi Classic Lounge, specifically tailored to suit our customers’ needs, while waiting for their flight.
An ambitious restyling project has transformed this lounge, located on the mezzanine level of Terminal 1, in an exclusive space, reserved to Club SEA members.
Pergolesi Classic Lounge covers about 430 square meters and it welcomes passengers with an excellent hospitality in an environment of an exclusive Italian design.
The restyling aims to overcome the formal issues of the pre-existing lounge, introducing a new hierarchy of elements that gives the area a completely renewed look. The fluidity and originality of the space has been improved thanks to the immediate identifiability of the functions.
Modern and innovative materials are at the basis for new design solutions that make the spaces visually appealing as well as pleasant to the touch.
Two inclined wings converging at the center of the lounge create the new suspended ceiling, where LED strips and linear and curved light sources compose the lighting and magnify the dynamism of the space.
The design of the metallic coverings and of the tubular dividers, defining the tasting and dining area, are peculiar features of the project.
The new Pergolesi Classic Lounge is a tribute to the master of Italian architecture and Milan’s design, Giò Ponti. The furnishings chosen represent Ponti's main masterpieces, with a strong relevance to the world of aviation and rail. Every piece of furniture, every covering, or lighting is harmoniously integrated into the renovated environment, and they create an atmosphere of luxury and elegance.
