New Milano Malpensa-Beijing Daxing service launched by Air Cina

SEA Milan Airports and Air China today celebrated the launch of the new direct service between Milano Malpensa Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport, a strategic new route that strengthens connectivity between Italy and the People’s Republic of China, fostering economic, commercial and tourism exchanges between the two countries. Malpensa is the first airport in Italy to offer a direct connection to this state-of-the-art new airport.
The Air China service to Beijing Daxing complements the airline’s existing routes from Milano Malpensa, bringing its total network from the airport to four destinations:

• MXP – Beijing Capital
• MXP – Chengdu
• MXP – Shanghai
• MXP – Beijing Daxing

Flights operate daily and are served by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The inaugural ceremony took place at Terminal 1 of Milano Malpensa Airport and was attended by Li Duo, General Manager of Air China; Cheng Xuan, President of CCCIT; and Zhang Chenggang, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Milan.
The launch of the Milano Malpensa–Beijing Daxing route marks a further step in strengthening relations between Italy and China, creating new opportunities for passenger traffic and supporting the development of economic, cultural and commercial ties between the two markets.
With this new service, Air China further expands its presence in the Italian market, while Milano Malpensa reinforces its role as Northern Italy’s leading international gateway and a strategic hub for intercontinental connectivity.
