Next stop: Chicago and Toronto with Air Italy
A few days after announcing the opening of the Milan Malpensa connections to Los Angeles (from 3rd April) and San Francisco (from 10th April), Air Italy launched two new destinations in North America: Toronto, in Canada, from 6th May and Chicago from 14th May.
Air Italy’s first connection to Toronto and Canada will be operated four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). Toronto, the capital of Ontario, is a cosmopolitan and multicultural city, that is one of the most important centres for trade and investment and for culture. From Toronto you can reach Niagara Falls State Park, , where you can take a ferry trip to see the impressive waterfalls up-close.
The connection from Milan to Chicago will be operated three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) and will be the only non-stop flight on this route. Chicago is one of the most influential cities in the world. It has a unique skyline that stretches from north to south along Michigan Lake, and a lively city centre that contains some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world. Chicago is a destination for business traffic and is home to a large Italian community.
All the new Air Italy services to Canada, the United States, India and Thailand are operated with the Airbus A330-200, which has 24 Business Class seats and 228 Economy Class seats. From the Milan Malpensa hub, Air Italy connects eight Italian cities (Rome, Naples, Palermo, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Olbia and Cagliari), five cities in the United States (New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago), two in India (Delhi and Mumbai), Toronto in Canada and Bangkok.
