New developments in 2018 with Meridiana flights from Milano Malpensa
Meridiana announces seven new connections from Milano Malpensa, including intercontinental flights to New York and Miami.
The Meridiana, company, which is 49% controlled by Qatar Airways, has announced new connections from Milano Malpensa airport starting in spring 2018. These include two intercontinental flights to two destinations in the US: New York (one flight a day from 1 June) and Miami (4 flights a week from 8 June) that will be operated with the Airbus A330.
From May to September, there will be new connections to five Italian destinations: Rome with 3 flights a day and Naples, Palermo, Catania and Lamezia Terme with 2 flights a day, in addition to the historic (daily) flight to Olbia, the carrier’s headquarters. These connections with Italian cities will benefit the medium- and long-haul flights departing from Malpensa Airport for all the destinations served by Meridiana, including the new Miami and New York flights and destinations that are already served such as Moscow, Cairo, Accra, Lagos and Dakar, as well as numerous leisure destinations in the winter and summer network (Cuba, Africa, the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean).
The flights will be operated with the new Airbus A330 fleet for long-haul connections and the all-new B737-MAX for short- and medium-haul flights. This decision will guarantee travelers a comfortable, high-quality experience.
