Discover new destinations from Malpensa

Publication Date: 16/09/2015

Airlines have already revealed a few tasters of the new developments at Malpensa for the winter season, with tickets on sale now.

The new destinations will enhance our airport’s network and offer passengers more travel possibilities: London Stansted, Glasgow, Seville, Comiso and Santiago de Chile.

The first new link – in chronological order – will be the flight between Malpensa and Santiago de Chile. Starting on 5 November, the LATAM Group will operate the new Malpensa – Sao Paulo – Santiago route seven times a week. It means passengers will be able to travel to the important South American city every day of the week, with a stopover in Sao Paulo.
The modern Boeing B787 will be used for the flight, ensuring a reduced impact on the environment and an even more pleasant flying experience.

As of 1 December, passengers will be able to fly Ryanair to London Stansted, Seville and Comiso. The London flight will operate twice daily, departing Malpensa at 6:45 and 21:45, with the flight to Comiso running once a day.  Flights to Seville will run three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Starting 2 December, easyJet will begin flying between Malpensa and Glasgow, Scotland’s biggest city. Flights will run twice a week, with departures from Malpensa on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

One new connection is already up and running: on 15 September, Meridiana began operating a flight between Malpensa and Natal, operating once a week with a stopover in Fortaleza. The aircraft being used on the route between Milan Malpensa and Brazil are Boeing B767-300s and feature 18 seats in Electa – Meridiana’s Business Class – and 254 in Economy class.
