American Airlines celebrates the10th anniversary of the Milano – New York route
American Airlines, the largest airline in the world, is preparing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Milan Malpensa to New York (JFK) route on 2 May, at Malpensa’s Terminal 1.
To celebrate this important milestone, the company has assigned the Milan Malpensa-New York route (one flight a day) a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft with two travel classes, Economy and Business, increasing the number of available seats rom 218 to 260. The company’s entire fleet of 47 Boeing 777-200 aircraft has been completely modernized: the interiors have been renovated with the installation of 13,200 new armchairs of which 1842 are fully-reclinable for Business Class passengers.
The same aircraft model will also be introduced in the Milano Malpensa – Miami collection (one flight a day) with an increase in available seats from 218 to 260.
