Air Italy kicks off its summer season at Milano Malpensa
Air Italy s inaugurating the summer season with new domestic and long-haul destinations from Milano Malpensa.
Air Italy will fly to Central and Southern Italy with new domestic destinations: starting from 1 May, there will be 21 flights a week to Rome, 13 flights a week to Naples and 8 flights a week to Palermo, which will increase to 11 a week starting in July. From 2 July, Catania will be connected with 5 weekly flights, which will rise to 10 from September. Finally, from 1 September, Lamezia Terme will be reachable with Air Italy with 10 weekly flights.
As for the new long-haul destinations, which will be added to those already operated by the company from Milan Malpensa, from 1 June there will be a daily flight to New York (JFK) and from June 8 there will be 4 flights a week to Miami (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). The connection to Miami will be suspended during the winter season.
From 9 September, Air Italy will also fly to Bangkok with 4 weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) which will rise to 5 weekly flights in the winter months (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Finally, next winter season will see the launch of the only direct flight from Italy to Mumbai (India), starting from 30 October. The Indian city, which has not had a direct connection to Milan Malpensa for 10 years, will be reachable with 5 weekly flights.
Long-haul flights will be operated with the new Airbus Airbus A330 fleet.
