New Ryanair and Twin Jet flights in April
The summer season is kicking off with many new developments for Ryanair. The company will launch new flights from Malpensa and a new destination: Almeria, in Spain.
Pack your bags to travel from Malpensa to: Madrid from 1st April with one flight a day, Bari from 18th April with six flights a week (daily except Saturday) and Brindisi, also from 18th April with one flight a day. From 2nd April, it will also be possible to reach Ryanair’s new destination Almeria, with two flights a week (Tuesday and Saturday).
Almeria, a city in Andalusia, is one of the region’s cities with a strong Moorish influence. The city’s past, as the main port of the Caliphate of Córdoba, is embodied by its captivating Alcazaba and by the Catedral de la Encarnación, which evidences the Eastern influence in this area of the country. For people who love the sea, Almeria offers beautiful isolated beaches with crystal clear water where you can snorkel, windsurf and sail on catamarans.
From 9th April, French company Twin Je t is also launching a new destination, connecting Malpensa to Strasbourg with three weekly flights: on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace, can be explored on foot, by bicycle or by boat, along its many canals. Its historic centre has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The city, which is home to the European Parliament, offers a charming combination of ancient and modern buildings. Be sure to visit the cathedral dedicated to Notre Dame, the characteristic Petite France district with exposed wooden houses with sloping roofs built in the 16th and 17th centuries, the Palais Rohan (18th century) with its three museums, the Musée des Beaux-Arts, the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Decorative Arts.
